When storage fees are charged
For Depository Online, storage fees are calculated on daily basis using The Perth Mint Spot price closing rate for gold, silver and platinum, and are deducted from your cash account monthly.
For Depository Program and Certificate Program, storage fees are charged to your account at the beginning of each quarter and invoiced six monthly in arrears on 30 June and 31 December.
Withdrawing funds
If you withdraw all funds from your account which has no metal left in it, then amounts due from unbilled storage fees, overdue storage fees or trades will be deducted from any payments due to you.
Currency
Storage will be charged in the default currency of your account, which is determined by country of residence.
Fabrication fees
Unallocated metal
Unallocated metal does not attract a fabrication fee.
Pool allocated metal
Pool allocated silver attracts a fabrication charge of $0.50 per ounce for the Depository Program and Certificate Program, and 1.50% of the metal value for Depository Online.
