Underwater antics

In the underwater city of Bikini Bottom, SpongeBob SquarePants is the fry cook at fast food restaurant The Krusty Krab. Responsible for preparing its popular Krabby Patty, SpongeBob’s life revolves around a wacky ensemble of marine characters - customers, co-workers, friends, and rivals - with whom he shares many madcap adventures.

Coloured design

The coin portrays coloured images of SpongeBob SquarePants, Sandy Cheeks, Gary the Snail, Sheldon J. Plankton, Mr. Krabs, Patrick Star, and Squidward Tentacles. Included in the design is the official ‘SPONGEBOB’ 25-year anniversary logo, as well as motifs representing Bikini Bottom and flower-shaped clouds.
