Party dude

Michelangelo is a wisecracking party dude famous for exclaiming ‘cowabunga’. Although energetic, enthusiastic and naturally gifted, he is reluctant to train, which frustrates his brothers Leonardo, Donatello and Raphael who believe that with more focus and discipline he could really excel at ninjutsu. Nevertheless, Mikey is an impressive fighter whose weapons of choice are nunchucks, which he handles with skill and precision.

Coloured Michelangelo design

The coin portrays Michelangelo in his orange eye mask busting through a brick wall with nunchuks. The design includes the inscription ‘MICHELANGELO’ and The Perth Mint’s ‘P’ mintmark.
