Created by author Ian Fleming in 1953, James Bond was brought to cinema screens for the first time in the 1962 movie Dr. No. In the 25 Bond movies to date, the fictional Secret Service agent also known as 007, has been portrayed by six actors including Sean Connery, George Lazenby, Roger Moore, Timothy Dalton and Pierce Brosnan. Bringing rawness and realism to the role while exploring new depths in the character, Daniel Craig re-defined Bond for the 21st century in six releases between 2006 and 2021.
