Lakshmi and Ganesh design

Portraying Lakshmi, the goddess of wealth and prosperity, and Ganesh, the elephant headed god of good fortune, the medallion’s reverse artistry includes 24-carat gold gilding on selected elements, including the deities’ ornate headdresses and neckpieces. Also symbolic of Diwali, the obverse features a ‘rangoli’ inspired pattern comprising diya (lamps) and lotus flower motifs.
