Year of the Pig design

Struck in stunning high relief, extra thick blanks are required to accommodate the coin’s incredibly detailed design. The reverse depicts a domesticated pig amongst stylised rocks and foliage, including a peony flower representing wealth and power. The Chinese character for ‘pig’ and the inscription ‘Year of the Pig’ also appear in the design with The Perth Mint’s traditional ‘P’ mintmark.

Housed in a prestigious display case inside a beautifully illustrated shipper, each coin is accompanied by a Numbered Certificate of Authenticity.
