Celebrating 25 years of the iconic red kangaroo design, these spectacular gold coins feature the original artistry by Dr Stuart Devlin AO CMG, goldsmith and jeweller to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
25th anniversary commemorative design
The reverse of each coin portrays a bounding red kangaroo surrounded by stylised rays of sunlight, and bordered by the inscription AUSTRALIAN KANGAROO, the weight, 9999 GOLD and the year-dates 1989 -2014. A special Perth Mint anniversary mintmark 'P25' also appears in the design.
Presentation packaging
Each coin is housed in a special black display case, featuring a wooden lid. The coin is presented in an illustrated and shipper, and is accompanied by a numbered certificate of authenticity.
