Gilded design

Gilded in alluring 24-carat gold, the prime focus of the coin’s superb reverse is two gleaming kangaroos. Capable of bounding at up to 70 km/h, the iconic marsupials are pictured against a stylised impression of Australia’s vast outback. Completing the picture is a representation of the sun, signifying the hot, arid conditions for which the land is justly famous.
