The Australian Swan is a limited mintage bullion coin series featuring elegant designs of Cygnus atratus, graceful inhabitants of the southeast and southwest regions of Australia where they live and breed in estuaries, inlets and other wetland environments. The 2022 coin features the sixth design from this popular series which has a strong track record of sell outs.

2022 Swan design

The 2022 Australian Swan 1oz gold coin portrays two graceful swans floating on the surface of the water. As well as inscription ‘THE 1oz 9999 AUSTRALIAN GOLD SWAN’, its reverse also incorporates The Perth Mint’s ‘P’ mintmark and a security feature in the form of a micro-laser engraved letter only detectable with a magnifying glass
