2025 koala design

The coin portrays an adorable koala lying on a tree branch amongst eucalyptus foliage. Included on the reverse are the inscriptions ‘KOALA’ and The Perth Mint’s ‘P’ mintmark, along with the coin’s weight, purity and 2025 year-date.

Authentication feature

For additional peace of mind, the coin incorporates an authentication feature in the form of a micro-laser engraved letter. Detectable under a magnifying glass, it’s designed to make it significantly more difficult for the coin to be counterfeited.

Presentation

The coin is presented in a protective acrylic capsule.
